Post-Wise Breakup and Educational Qualification
1. Sub-Inspector (BS-14) – 02 Posts
- Educational Qualification: 2nd Class / Grade “C” Bachelor’s Degree (02 Years), Post-Intermediate Associate Degree, or BS (04 Years) from an HEC-recognized university.
- Quota: Open Merit (1), ICT Quota (1).
2. Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-11) – 38 Posts
- Educational Qualification: 2nd Class / Grade “C” BA/BSc or Post-Intermediate Associate Degree from an HEC-recognized university.
- Quota Distribution: Open Merit (3), ICT (19), Punjab (8), Sindh Urban (1), Sindh Rural (3), KPK (4), Balochistan (1), Ex-FATA/AJK/GB (as per government policy).
3. Constable (BS-07) – 750 Posts
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation from a recognized board of education.
- Quota Breakdown: Open Merit (56), ICT (379), Punjab (187), Sindh Urban (27), Sindh Rural (57), KPK (87), Balochistan (43), Ex-FATA (23), Gilgit-Baltistan (6), AJK (13). (Includes reserved quotas for Women and Minorities).
Physical Standards & Fitness Criteria
Candidates must meet the non-negotiable physical measurements and endurance criteria to qualify for subsequent stages:
- Height:
- Male: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches ($5’\:7″$)
- Female: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches ($5’\:2″$)
- Chest Measurement (Male Candidates Only): $33″ \times 34\frac{1}{2}”$
- Vision: $6/6$ with or without glasses; Near vision not less than J-1.
- Running / Endurance Test:
- Male: 1.6 kilometers running within 07 minutes.
- Female: 1.6 kilometers running within 10 minutes.
Step-by-Step How to Apply Online
- Visit the Web Portal: Go to npftas.pk or islamabadpolice.gov.pk.
- Fill out the Registration Form: Register with your CNIC number, active mobile number, and accurate personal/academic details.
- Generate Fee PSID: Generate the 1Link-1Bill PSID for the application fee of Rs. 2,000 per post.
- Pay Fee: Pay the fee online using any bank ATM, Internet Banking, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, or 1Link banking channels.
- Submit Application: Complete and submit your application online before November 15, 2026. No physical documents need to be sent by courier at this stage.
