Eligibility Criteria & Qualification Details
Candidates interested in applying for the PSDF Assistant Manager Research post must meet the following mandatory requirements set by the organization:
1. Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.
- OR BS Degree from a recognized foreign university (or equivalent qualification).

2. Professional Experience:

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and conducting surveys—including sample selection, questionnaire/instrument design, field team training, fieldwork oversight, and strict data quality assurance.
- Proven track record in executing baseline studies, impact evaluations, and tracer studies.
- Experience in drafting Terms of Reference (TORs) and managing the procurement process for external research consultants and consulting firms is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
The selected Assistant Manager – Research will be tasked with the following core responsibilities:
- Survey & Research Design: Developing sampling strategies, survey instruments, and data collection tools for research initiatives.
- Impact Evaluation: Designing and executing baseline, mid-term, and end-line impact evaluations to evaluate the performance of skill-development initiatives.
- Consultant Management: Formulating comprehensive TORs to recruit independent research firms and consultants, ensuring high-quality research deliverables.
- Data Quality Assurance: Monitoring field survey teams and ensuring rigorous data integrity throughout the research lifecycle.
